All in all there is enough information
for you to build an E-trike from scratch. You don’t have
to follow the guide to the letter, you can introduce your own dimension
changes if you like, incorporate a stow area, or even design a
full body for it possibly using alloy sheet or any number of plastic
shaped items you can find. Even a wheelie bin upside down is not
far from a nose cone shape. It’s a great project to take on, not too major. They are easy to accommodate and easy to work on. The project is educational too, and good for experimenting with. Economy, well if you compare the miles per overnight charge to an ICE (internal combustion engine) then you’re looking at an equivalent of 600 mpg. WOW. So in the U.K you get to collect and display a tax disc that is free, now that’s a nice feeling, you also get out of the con charge in London and some places let you park in the motor bike parking spaces. Not only that but as the acceleration is brisk due to the motors having max torque from zero rpm, they are great fun. So what are you waiting for? They’re not available in the shops, so start your project today. BODY OPTION A GRP body with a built in seat can be ordered from us. If you wish to purchase one you should do so prior to building your chassis so you can check dimensions. |
